Families

For most of the year Blue Lagoon Cruises is exclusive to adults in the style of smaller resorts. However, we have many requests for family bookings from guests who have previously cruised with us. So we are pleased to offer a selection of departure dates for family cruising time!

The chosen "Family Cruise" departure dates are all within the Australian and New Zealand school holidays.

Child Policy: 
As this is a small ship cruising product we have a minimum age policy of 14 years for children travelling with parents outside of our special 'Family Cruise Departure Dates. 

Family Cruise Departures: 
During our Family Departures, our Child age is 5 to 13 years inclusive and an infant is 0 to 4 years inclusive.

• Our "child rate" is a per child rate based on 2 children sharing the same cabin (OR 1 child and 1 adult sharing based on child paying the child fare and adult paying the per person Adult Twin/Double fare).
• One child in their own cabin is charged the full Adult Single Cabin fare.
• An Infant rate is valid for children under 5 years of age (during our designated Family Weeks only) based on sharing an Orchid cabin with 2 Adults (or 2 Children, or 1 Adult & 1 Child). Infants can be accommodated in an Orchid cabin with an existing day bed - note there are a very limited number of these Orchid Deck cabins available.
• All children / infants must be under the supervision of an adult at all times to the satisfaction of the ship’s Captain and must be able to swim unaided or be prepared to wear a flotation device on all tender transfers.  Please be aware that there is no kids club onboard our ship nor child supervision or nanny's.
